Why AI agents need events, not APIs?
Agentic AI Developer Meet, Hyderabad. A free evening for 25 developers building agentic AI: two talks on why autonomous agents need an event mesh, one live integration of Solace Agent Mesh on a production system, a hands-on hour, and hi-tea. Thursday 12 November, 4 to 7 pm, The Oasis at T-Hub.

The detail
Nothing on stage is mocked. The event mesh in the demo already carries production traffic. Solace Agent Mesh is connected to it in front of the room, and autonomous agents act on what arrives: no polling, no cron, no stale state.

The argument · agentic AI, in one picture
Ask, and you are late. Be told, and you act in time.
An agent that asks an API acts on the last answer it got; an agent that is told acts the moment something happens. Twelve systems and three agents. Polled, every agent keeps a connection to every system and asks on a timer. On an event mesh each system publishes once, and the agents that care are told.
Every agent polls every system, on a timer
36
connections to keep alive: 12 × 3, and 2,160 calls an hour at a 20-second poll
Each system publishes once; the agents that care are told
15
connections: 12 + 3, and zero calls until something happens
The same twelve systems and the same three agents. Polled, every new agent multiplies the wiring and still acts on the last answer it got. Published once, an order placed, a payment cleared or a sensor over its limit takes a single path to the agents that subscribed, the moment it happens. That is the evening, in one picture; the talks and the live integration are the rest of it.

Hosts
Iesoft Technologies builds the real-time backbone that agentic AI runs on, and puts Solace’s event mesh and Agent Mesh into production systems.
With
Solace makes the event mesh and Agent Mesh, the runtime for agentic AI on top of it. The Meet is where the two show their working, on a real system, in a room close enough to interrupt.
Format
Talks, then live. Two short talks on agentic AI and the event mesh, one live integration, a hands-on hour in which every seat puts an agent on the mesh, questions, hi-tea.

Why T-Hub
The room sits inside one of the world’s largest startup campuses, among the people building Hyderabad’s next systems.
T-Hub is Telangana’s public-private innovation hub, launched in November 2015. Its second campus at Raidurgam, in Hyderabad Knowledge City, opened in June 2022 and runs to more than 572,000 square feet. It hosts India’s first Google for Startups hub, an Atal Incubation Centre, the iDEX defence and aerospace hub and the MATH centre for AI startups. The Oasis is its 7th-floor event room, with a floor of founders below.
